The splendor of the Grand Canyon is unmatched.  Only 3% has been intensively surveyed, yet they have documented 4,800 archaeological sites. South Rim Grand Canyon, AZ

As I stood at the base of this mountain in total silence, I was humbled by the magesty, power and glory of this beautiful earth. I snapped the shutter and was humbled to be able to witness such a spectacular scene.

The Mogollon Rim in Arizona is an escarpment defining the SW edge of the Colorado Plateau.  The rim is primarily made of limestone and sandstone creating spectacular vistas.

I found this scene as I was driving through Tonto National Forest in Arizona.  The red rock instantly caught my eye.
